THE 2009 ROCKY HORROR SHOW HAS CLOSED

Many thanks to the cast and crew for a wonderful and exciting show and to the wild audiences who came out for an evening of fun. There was never a dull moment. Everyones efforts also helped raise substantial funds to support the Hoogland Center for the Arts so much appreciated.

Although the 09 RHS Live has ended...there may a chance to do the Time Warp again in Springfield. Keep checking this blog for news and updates. Until then, remember.....

TICKETS ARE ON SALE

Have you bought your tickets yet for The Rocky Horror Show? NO?! Only three more weeks until the hottest ticket in town isn't available any more.

Visit the Hoogland Center for the Arts here to reserve seats. Once that's done, all you'll need to worry about is putting together your costume and practicing your "lines"!

Not sure how to act? Here's a link to a RHS Virgin's Guide. Mind you, this is based on the movie. The live stage show is slightly different...but it's mostly the same.

Auditions for the Rocky Horror Show

Audition Dates: Saturday & Sunday, July 18 & 19, 2:00 p.m. Hoogland Center for the Arts

Show Dates: October 22-24, 30, 31, 2009 Hoogland Center for the Arts

Rocky Horror will be presented by the Hoogland Center for the Arts and ADHD Productions. Directed by Mac Warren.

Audition dates and details: Saturday & Sunday, July 18 & 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.
Hoogland Center for the Arts CALLBACKS: Immediately after Sunday auditions

PARTS AVAILABLE:
Frank-n-Furter: A scientist. Frank is a devious, flamboyant, transvestite scientist. (Baritone)

Janet Weiss: Sweet and naive. Janet is engaged to Brad but is tempted by Rocky. (Belt)

Brad Majors: Fiancé of Janet Weiss. Awkward and clean cut. (Tenor)

Riff-Raff: Frank's minion and Magenta's brother in the guise of a butler. (Tenor)

Magenta: Magenta, the sister of Riff-Raff, is in the guide of Frank's maid.. (Mezzo)

Columbia: A Frankie groupie formerly involved with Eddie. May tap dance.. (Mezzo)

Dr. Everett Scott: A scientist. Can double as Eddie.(Tenor)

Rocky Horror: Frank’s creation. Well-built and attractive. (Tenor)

The Narrator: An expert who provides commentary. (Baritone or on-singing)

Eddie: Ex-delivery boy and Columbia's former boyfriend, Can double as Dr.. Scott. (Tenor)

Phantoms: Ensemble roles integral to show..(female & male, any voice range, must dance)

Dance/Voice Auditions:
Participants will be auditioning in blocks of 10-15 per hour and should prepare a 60-120 second vocal audition that highlights their ability to sing this type of music (rock/rock-n-roll specifically). Participants need not sing a song specifically from RHS, but may if they wish. At the conclusion of the audition, participants will demonstrate their movement/dance abilities. Dress comfortably given the movement/dance section of auditions
